Weejah strongly recommends all carers have the appropriate COVID-19 vaccination for your age as soon as possible. This is based on Australian Government advice that states all in-home aged care workers are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination. The Australian Government has provided the following advice, fact sheet and infographic.

  • It is important to have a family member or other person aware of when you are receiving a vaccination so you can be monitored post-vaccination.

  • Please see a GP if you observe any noticeable changes in your wellbeing after receiving the vaccination.

 

To support you further we are providing you with confirmation of your carer status. Please use the note below from Andrew Cronan, Weejah CEO, as proof of your carer status. In addition to this confirmation the Australian Government requests that you take proof of age (eg: driver’s license, passport, birth certificate) with you to your appointment.
